Through simple, but powerful yogic breathing techniques you will learn how the breath affects the functioning of your physical body and your mental and emotional states.
The quality of your breath is directly linked to the quality of your life. By bringing this awareness into your daily living you will begin to transform, and well-being will enter your life.
In this workshop you will learn:
~ the importance of breath awareness
~ natural breath vs paradoxical breath
~ the benefits of proper breathing
~ different pranayama (breath control) techniques: how to practice them correctly and their specific benefits
This workshop will address not only the very basics of proper breathing but also explore more advanced techniques. All levels are welcome. Come in comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat. Chairs will also be available for those who are not comfortable on the floor.
